We want our customers to know that we will do everything we can to prevent shut-offs, including working with customers to develop a payment schedule. Financial Assistance Options

If you are facing shut-off and are in need of financial assistance, please reach out to the Ottawa County Community Action Agency right away. Through our partnership with OCCAA, even those up to 250% of the current poverty level are eligible to receive payment assistance to avoid shut-off.

During the months of November and December, customers can sign up for a budget plan. This ensures your monthly bill is consistent throughout the year so you have a set amount to plan for. Note: Accounts must be at least one year old and paid up to date in order to enroll.

Utility and/Or Weatherization Assistance

See if you are eligible for the Utility and Weatherization Assistance program through Ottawa County Community Action Agency. By participating, you can make your home more efficient, get tips to lower your bills, and more.
