At the heart of every public power utility is the community, and in Zeeland, it’s no different. Zeeland Board of Public Works (BPW) proudly participated in this summer’s Zeelmania event, connecting with residents, celebrating community spirit, and sharing the benefits of public power.
Zeelmania is a family-centered event that takes over Downtown Zeeland with food, fun, and games. Zeeland BPW was thrilled to be part of “Heroes Night” again this year. With a table full of giveaways and friendly faces from our team, we had the opportunity to meet with members of the community, answer questions, and celebrate what makes Zeeland a great place to live, work, and play.
For us, participating in events like Zeelmania isn’t just about handing out goodies; it’s about reinforcing our connection to the people we serve and showing up in the community we call home.
Being community-owned means Zeeland BPW is uniquely positioned to respond quickly to local needs, reinvest in infrastructure, and provide affordable and reliable utility services; all while supporting the local community.
