Coloring Contest

DEADLINE: September 22, 2023

Zeeland Board of Public Works invites you to join us in celebrating Public Power Week, October 1-7, along with more than 2,000 other community-powered, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to 49 million Americans.

Through the Public Power Coloring Contest, we wish to engage students and the community in a way that will enhance interest and understanding of the role that efficient, safe, reliable, and affordable electricity plays in powering our community.

 

THE CONTEST WINNER WILL RECEIVE A $50 AMAZON GIFT CARD & WILL BE FEATURED IN CURRENTS MAGAZINE!

DETAILS:

RULES:

  1. This contest is open to participants in 1st– 4th grade for Fall of 2022.
  2. Contestants may only submit one entry.
  3. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, September 22
  4. The winner will be announced the week of October 1 and notified by email.

 

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Complete one of the three Zeeland BPW Public Power Coloring Contest coloring sheets.
    • Coloring sheets can be printed or picked up at the following locations:
      • Zeeland BPW Customer Center, 350 E. Washington Ave, Zeeland
      • Zeeland City Hall, 21 S. Elm St, Zeeland
      • Howard Miller Public Library, 14 S. Church St, Zeeland
  2. Complete the submission form.
  3. Submit both the coloring sheet & information below by September 22, 2023 using a delivery method below:
    • Return to your school office.
    • Mail or drop off to 350 E. Washington Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464
